Primalizing Your Pantry for Permanent Fat Loss

It’s time to clean out those cupboards! That’s right! Reading the labels is the name of the game here ladies… We’re looking for every and anything that has any of the following:

What's in your cupboard that's keeping you fat? Here we have cream of mushroom soup
  • High fructose corn syrup
  • Corn syrup
  • Corn starch
  • Corn
  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • Wheat
  • Enriched flour
  • Flour
  • Rice flour
  • Rice starch
  • Partially hydrogenated ____ oil
  • Potato
  • Potato flour
  • Mono-Sodium Glutamate (MSG)
  • Modified _____ starch
  • Modified (anything at all)
  • Bleached ____
  • Enriched ____
  • Soy bean oil
  • soy

If you are watching your sugar check for hidden names like, honey or maltodextrin, sucrose and sugar substitutes. Use your best judgment here since many meat rubs and mixed seasonings have some sort of sugar and should be used sparingly if at all.

I’ve recently started making my own salad dressings, salsa and mayo to avoid the sugar (and other items from the above list) all together. I don’t know about you but when I eat sugar I don’t want it to be hoodwinked into eating it by it being hidden in my condiments. I prefer it in the form of a BIG scoop of creme brulee on a giant strawberry or serving of organic ice cream!

You can take it to a food bank and donate it or you can take it back to your local grocer.
